In 2003 a decision was made to redevelop the Clay target range currently manufactured by Eley Hawk. The design team and management of the Company with over 100 years experience between them in the manufacture of shotgun ammunition began exhaustive research into the current requirements of the competition cartridge market, and the specific requirements of the various shooting disciplines. After many months of trials and tests a new range of products was developed to satisfy every shooter from the casual clay shooter to the demanding professional competition shooter.

The resulting range of cartridges has been a complete success story with probably more championship wins at home and abroad in the first year of introduction than any other British cartridge. The new range of competition cartridges has set a new standard in the Clay Target market.
